Bad managers can poison your experience

Pros

There are some groups with good managers and good people that turn out solid, well done work.

Cons

However, you can get stuck with a bad manager with little opportunity for change. Empire building and poor judgement is rampant. This is especially true when it comes to blindly following the latest trends in technology, with little regard to how applicable they are to the needs of the company.

Pros

Some great perks. You get to do all the Activities for free but only on your day off and un-paid and you must do this every month at least once.

Cons

HR department in Hawaii is borderline lawless. Upper management will set you up They are trying to push all the competition out of the game.
