Pros

Relatively okay work/life balance, although it was high dependent on the team/department. The work itself is not overtly complicated.

Cons

C-Suite loves to copy its policies from its neighbors, Amazon and Microsoft. Not a ton of originality. Has been moving workers to offshore. Prefers offshore employees to US-based ones, at least in engineering. Does not promote fast; very hard to get promotions.

Pros

Top-tier benefits, great office, lots of fun problems to be solved.

Cons

A waste of really smart people due to: dysfunctional leadership culture. Endless politics. Frequent reorganizations. Chronic ownership disputes. Too much focus on perception and not enough focus on outcomes. The company has no shortage of talent, but it often struggles to get out of its own way.
