Pros

$600 wellness benefit Company provides ORCA card (unfortunately the shifts here do not always follow bus schedules and there is no option to pay for parking and receive an ORCA card) Drinking at work (wait.. should this really be a pro?) Free softdrinks, milk, V8, water. Keurigs in some locations and starbucks machine in others. Several vending machines available for your unhealthy dieting pleasure. 3 weeks vacation to start

Cons

Irregular work hours that will never be regular Seniority seems to have nothing to do with more desirable shifts (consistently seen newer employees start out at a better shift) "Leadership" team is checked-out, they don't care about the employees, regularly no show for one on ones or reschedule only to not show up for that one either. Changes are made with little employee feedback. Morale is horrible and the only communication that you see from the current manager is when he has another new policy to implement to further make this department mirror a call center. Coming to work and doing your job is not rewarded, to be rewarded you must send out constant over-communication and suck up to the manager as much as possible. You should also plan a lot of useless meetings that do not accomplish anything. Job is coded as salaried, leadership wont bat at eye if you decide to stay late, but if you need to leave early, come in late, or go to an appt during the day, you may find that they want you to make it up somehow. Salary is low, they compare their pay to Amazon which is similar but the Amazon employees receive OT and have more traditional hours. Tools are constantly becoming obsolete, department won't spend the money to get new tools to enable us to be more accurate in our jobs. Constant bugs with our main system and our leadership has mostly been ineffective at working with other teams to fix these bugs or other outages.

Pros

I wish I could find any.

Cons

A parody of a corporate. Work results are being measured by how much time you spent in office (on assigned seats and assigned days, as in a literal after school club for toddlers; only thing missing is an embroidery class to sew your initials onto your jacket) and quantity, quality is a foreign concept to the managers who are so out of touch and incapable, it's sometimes impressive to see. Floor managers are mostly kinder garden teachers at it's best, with little knowledge of the work, field, market or any capability of leading people. Resulting in managers walking around floors and sneaking on where people are and if they god forbid didn't come or leave 5 minutes later or earlier, as they have literally nothing better to do or say. Time management I have no words to describe rather than a joke to everyone involved, as all meetings starts few minutes late, due to poor time management of the leadership, resulting in sending out work emails and little "role-play requests" /what the refer to as training, as that is another department lacking/ on the weekends, as example Sundays at 12.00am. I would rather defecate in my hands and clap than ever sign the contract again, or yet worse, refer someone to work here. If you are being hunted by a recruiter, or considering to apply for any position there, run as fast as you can. Even though the work offer are presented as account management (interview doesn't correspond to the actual workflow whatsoever), THIS IS A CALL CENTER, where work is measured by the lengths of calls and not quality of the job. Horrendous working practices, workflow in extremely toxic and hostile working environment. Only bearable part of the work are all the depressed and demotivated employees, who has been tricked into accepting the offer. If you speak up, you will be punished or threatened with terminating the contract, both in low minion roles and mid-management. No career growth, no career development or learning opportunities; no possibilities to increase your salary to match the market rate, as publicly explained by the director that Expedia is in a debt since Covid and employees should be glad to even have a job, as the unemployment rate in USA raiser (completely irrelevant to European standarts).

Pros

Some good benefits in line with the industry. Your co-workers most likely will be nice people to know and spend some time while working. Laid back environment.

Cons

There's no ownership of the product. After several re-orgs and bad organisational and tech decisions, all good experienced developers left. As a consequence tech standards are very low, It didn't used to be like that. We were proud of what we deployed to production, we had ownership and control over all parts of the process, from the idea, development, deployment processes till monitoring and maintaining it stable. The company culture promotes "stay in your lane" kind of thinking. Be prepared to be bored out of your mind. All processes are all very slow moving. There's too many politics, management trying to push each other out, Be warned of layoffs. Like any corporation, they'll make you want to be part of a "family"... but then one day you learn someone got laid off because leadership changed and cut without looking. CEO and everybody at the top get ridiculous amount of compensation compared to the rest.
