Pros

Very fair to the best employees - management provides better raises to employees who work hard and excel at what they do. They are also very supportive and helpful if you are looking to get into another position at the company, no matter how much they need you to stay where you are. If you're lazy and don't do a good job, chances are they'll keep you around, but your pay will reflect your behavior. Three weeks vacation/sick time is good compared to some other companies I've seen recently, but for a travel company, I think there should be more. Fitness reimbursement along with other random benefits. Good hotel discounts. Very supportive company culture.

Cons

Entry-level pay could be better. More time off to increase our travel knowledge. Crappy employees are allowed to linger and cause problems others have to fix.

Pros

The benefits are great and they offer training. There is great room for growth. I am satisfied over all. I would recoment it.

Cons

A lot of supervisors or managers have very little management skills. They bring people in at very low salaries and its hard to get a raise.

Pros

Fun work culture centered around smart people working hard Strong focus on technology Many opportunities to design and develop on latest technologies

Cons

On the technology side, Expedia is still struggling with the transition from rapid growth to established company. This transition has been going on for 5+ years and processes and organizations are still not stable. There are constant reorgs. Processes can be overwhelming and political.
