Cons
Maven Wave, or Eviden as it's now called, used to be an amazing company up until about 2 and a half years ago. Maven Wave was an elite consulting partner for Google Cloud. They knew who they were. They had the right people, both engineers and management. They had an awesome culture. They were amazing. But like so many others of these startups, the owner sold out to a bigger company (Atos). I'm sure he/they made a pretty penny on that. Congrats. But unfortunately everyone else suffered. This destroyed what was built. Atos is a behemoth dinosaur company that runs everything with a "bigger is better, more money, more profit, cheaper labor" mentality. They are a terrible company. So now Maven Wave has been absorbed into this OneCloud mess and merged with other acquisitions such as CloudReach, full of incompetent engineers, and they are offering services in all clouds. Anyway, almost all the good people from Maven Wave abandoned ship, including managers. A lot of the people left are those just looking to advance by kissing up to upper management. The good culture collapsed and it's pretty toxic now. And most of the projects are a mess of bad organization with the wrong people.
