- don't know how to evaluate employee - don't transfer knowlege, you do a better job to transfer knowlege to someone else, and then you will be the one to get layoff

Great health insurance, generous PTO, good work-life balance, nice campuses, competitive pay packages, and a genuine sense that the company aspires to be a good corporate citizen.

Cons

While leaders of the company talk a good game about recruiting the best talent, developing employees and helping them grow their careers, that narrative is paper thin. And, worst of all, the company will not hesitate to lay people off in order to appease shareholders - even high performers who consistently add value to the organization.
