Pros

As technical project implementer, you get to learn the latest telecom technologies, methods and processes. If you are in regional support, you get to travel and be exposed to a truly international culture. Fairly easy to ask for trainings.

Cons

At Ericsson Malaysia, there is now a distinct lack of dynamic leadership in building cutting edge competence because management does not engage front line staff enough, not approving/investing in buddy system OJT with experienced engineers, and implementing changes to suit the current environment.

Pros

Get to work with truly global and diverse team. Develop style of being process oriented. Encouraged to participate in innovation (small task, routing work to new concept and product.) Customer comes first.

Cons

Middle layer mgmt has no idea/skills and very insecure as they are not part of "loyal group" and dying to get in "l g". Hard to trust messages sent by mgmt. Socialistic approach. Dont work- work - work hard - work extremely hard..... all paid and compensated equally.
