Cons
Constant layoffs and looking over your shoulder to see if you are next. Loss of 10 vacation days for all U.S. employees, took away company provided cell phones, more expensive insurance and no pay raises for over 5 years. No bonus plan payouts in years. Extensive layoffs, reorganization to cut costs and restructure the business. Decisions are being made to structure change without understanding the implications. Senior level executives are hiring their buddies and they all are disconnected from the realities of the people actually doing the work. Since most of us have been here 20 plus years and are close to retirement, they know they can take advantage of our situation.
