Pros

Great people, great benefits, good culture, excellent opportunities if you are in the right place at the right time and have forged alliances with Senior Leadership

Cons

Constant reorganization, huge layoffs that have undermined our knowledge base, critical people let go while others that are less impactful remain due to not having any strategy with layoffs and people retention. A void has been left in Pleasanton.

Thank you for your feedback! We recognize that being a large and complex company sometimes results in lengthier processes. And, our market is highly regulated, with a myriad of considerations that often impact timelines. With this in mind, we continue to work on streamlining our processes, incorporating more agility into the way we work whenever possible. We also encourage you to consider further engaging your manager in an open & honest dialogue to see if there might be opportunities to address your concerns or identify possible opportunities to improve upon your department processes. Our culture is an essential element for our organization and we’re constantly evolving to provide a place where everyone feels valued and inspired to grow to their best potential. By knocking down walls and working without borders, we create a connected environment in which our people can share the knowledge, resources, and expertise needed to help people live longer, healthier lives. This allows us as to bring medicines and diagnostic solutions more quickly to the patients who are counting on us.

Pros

The benefits are great and the pay is better than most.

Cons

They care more about forcing efficiency measures than solving root problems. They want to enact "morale boost" events but refuse to ask why we were unhappy. This year they decided to devalue our pay and our efforts by giving everyone a static 2% raise
