Pros

The office is very comfortable and recently updated. They provide complimentary high-end coffee and snacks on every floor. Have an on-site cafeteria and nice place to walk around. There is a pension in addition to the 401k. Pay is ok. Being a global company, there is a wonderful amount of diversity and culture.

Cons

"Remote" to Metlife means one mandatory in office day per month. There is no consistency in leaderships direction. Job expectations and responsibilities change at a whim. Quality expectations are all over the place. People who are honest and work hard get burnt out and slackers are coddled. It's all about who you know and the face you present, not your work performance. To be fair this based on experience only in the LTC dept, I cannot speak for anywhere else

Pros

Good support for new people managers were very helpful and always available

Cons

Micromanage every second of your time; have to put in a request to go to the bathroom and wait for someone to grant it Expect you to put exceptions to your time after your shift ends on your own time Half hour lunch by the time I brought my lunch or heated my leftovers and went to the bathroom. I barely had time to wolf it down. Unrealistic call times Systems are horrible and crashing all the time expect you to be in at least 15 minutes before your shift unpaid to set up all the programs on your computer
