Pros

Private health care Sickness cover

Cons

As a huge advocate of the platform, I was very excited to join this business. Everything I heard at interview about the culture and their HEART values led me into a false illusion. Hubspot is a cattle market, you're just a number. People who made Presidents Club last year are now on PIPS because of 2 bad months. It doesn't matter if you have been in the company 10 years, 2 bad months and you're managed out the door. They have removed unlimited time off and dictate when you're allowed to take time off. You are being sent continual correspondence to say when you shouldn't be taking time off. The people are ruthless and cut throat, there is no collaboration. Everyone is out for themselves and will stamp all over their own teams to hit their numbers. I honestly wanted to love this company and I'm saddened to write this review. Not even a birthday or Christmas card from them. No team get togethers as they won't pay for you to travel. No Christmas night out as they wouldn't pay for that either. A truly awful place to work. Everyone is stressed out and constantly terrified of being fired. The targets are unrealistic, they reduced the monthly quota this year as very few hit it but its still unrealistic. Please avoid this place.

Pros

The teams you work with are phenomenal. The knowledge combination between an internal customer facing teams, engineering product development teams, and Sales are unmatched.

Cons

Excessive use of PIPs to oust employees after multiple high revenue launches, with no explanation, actual documentation, or factual data. Reviews have been adjusted to allow for terminations post pre-approved leaves. Salaries are a joke. You are always in a cover yourself mode 24/7. Management reviews are consistently a 2 or 3 out of 5 no matter what. If a team decides you aren’t in the group, management will put you on a “unofficial” PIP without telling you, in order to surprise you at a later date. Even if they are unfounded. Beware of possibility of negative backlash post launches. They will feel the need to assign blame ( such as for timelines or issues related to bugs). Regardless of performance or level of involvement. This is an enormous company with many large paths for career advancement. But micro management is rampant, leaving little room for doing the daily expectations of your actual role. This degrades your opportunities for career advancement.
