Pros

Engineering, Reputation and Stability. If you like working at a strong and reputed engineering corporation, Honeywell is good place to be. Honeywell is a very structured environment, and very diversified, which means if you are lucky you could end up contributing to different projects.

Cons

Too many managers. Compensation is average at best. Bureaucratic Management, who's only claim to fame is that they have stuck around long enough to get promoted. The work environment is very very officious and boring. No-one jokes around, there are meeting very early in the morning. Projects usually run past deadlines due to mismanagement. No strong organizational commitment to innovation, but then that's the case with a lot of companies working in the same field as Honeywell.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
