Pros

We promote from within almost 100% of the time so hard work pays off. I was hired at 16 and became a manager at 18 but I have a strong work ethic. Free food! Secret shopper money WAS good until they changed the policy. It is now twice as hard to get money from that. Tips range from 2 to 15 dollars a night, depending on the store. It's fun! (as long as you have fun managers). Most stores are very clean!

Cons

Managers are forced to focus on LABOR, which means we have to send employees home when we are slow, despite what the schedule says. This naturally leads to controversy in the work place. Expectations are set way too high for ALL employees. We make the same as McDonald's employees yet we are held to MUCH higher standards. I would recommend for high school/college job, but beyond that, they don't pay you enough.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
