Pros

Bonus, obtained restaurant food safety knowledge, certifications, annual reviews, & developed new networking connections.

Cons

Very political company on every level. Got little to no family time outside of work. Policies are always changing and too many inspections. Secret shopper program is always a struggle and they make you feel like your a bad manager when you don't get good averages. They always openly say you can be replaced. Worked for both franchise and corporate gave away almost 10 years of my time and was openly passionate about my job. After 10 years the Area manager fired me and did it with ease. I sacrificed so much for this company and got little appreciation in return. They move you from location to location regardless of your opinion. However if you ask to go to a location of interest they don't really give you the opportunity. When the GM tries to get get time off it's always a struggle getting it approved.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
