Pros

If you enjoy workplace harassment, discrimination, mind games, and receiving no acknowledgement for hard work, then this job is for you.

Cons

- Unrealistic expectations - Zero autonomy - Non-existent 'mystery shopper' bonuses - 'Learn to earn' never happens, despite knowing all the stations - Long hours, poor pay - No remuneration for completing E-learning, despite being told otherwise - Low morale among colleagues, mostly due to terrible management - Badly organised rotas (overstaffed when quiet, understaffed when busy) - Senior management/HR have no interest in the day to day affairs of the business - Some store managers are extremely difficult and/or vindictive - Favouritism, backstabbing, and disproportionate allocation of the hard work - Gruelling, repetitive tasks - Completely fake ethos All of which means a very high staff turnover.

Pros

They will teach you everything you need to be successful. They have much higher standards than most places, one of the few places I'd have no problem eating at any location. They'll make sure you have everything you need to meet those standards, especially once you get to a management level. They have corporate trainers and the GM at my location was also great. I'm a GM at a different place now and my experience here left me well prepared me for that position.

Cons

Pay. That's the only reason I left, I would have stayed with the company if I could have gotten a raise and I would definitely return if they offered something comparable to what I'm making elsewhere.
