The lie they make folks belief is that you are an Analyst, NO you are a Call Center Worker! The company tricks the local government that they are helping bring jobs to their city when in fact Barclaycard uses people and takes advantage of folks trying to make an honest living. This in turn makes a person's situation trying to earn a decent and honest living left to fend for themselves to get paid.
