      You can learn a lot discussing with the desks, and a lot of data accessible

      They are restructuring the bank, a lot of politics, it's not going forward for quants

      Mostly proactive individuals, good life-work balance, interesting colleagues

      Cons

      Pod in Paris is a bit remote. The diversity /inclusion stuff is just too much. Hierarchy a bit static as for most banks.

      Pros

      Banking Salary still very good when compared to other industries, decent additional benefits, between many boring tasks there are interesting assignments, majority of colleagues are helpful

      Cons

      nobody takes decisions / individual responsibility but rather everything is delegated to gazillion committees, managers still paint you a rosy picture when reality looks bleak, it is NOT a meritocracy: for pay and promotion you need to be in the right camp
