Pros
None - see below. I would not recommend this role in this company.
Cons
I write specifically about the complaints department in Liverpool which deals with retail banking complaints. Avoid - at all costs. For your own sanity. If you are erudite and on the ball, you’ll quickly pick up processes and training - because you’ll have to as their training is crap, even after it was “revamped”. It is a conveyor belt of complaints. You have to be fast to meet their “expectation” or you’ll be classed as failing. You are unable to do a good job due to how quickly they want you to work. Managers above front line team leaders are basically all stupid and try to sound like they know what they’re doing. What they are doing well is stressing good staff to the max. They have no idea how to run the place. I am a hard working person and I’ve never felt so micromanaged in any job. I didn’t feel trusted to manage my case load and ultimately this had led to my resignation. Overall, this is a bad place to work and the pay does not reflect the level of responsibility.
