Pros
The people you meet are great- co-workers are friendly and helpful; its a shame they have to jump through so many hoops imposed by management
Cons
Bullying and discrimination; favouritism and lack of opportunity for those not favoured Fraud- managers fixing figures and holding back contractors payments, password 'sharing' imposed by management, projects closed prematurely to reach KPI at expense of customer Lazy team members who are shielded by gutless managers Management appointed by 'who you know' or 'who you slept with' not ability and company does not invest in management training; they are left to operate their own, unregulated sub-cultures where it is every Ego for themselves and management power struggles/standoffs overshadow efficient operations Lack of systems to carry out job role, lack of interdepartmental communication, lack of knowledge of commercial strategy, lack of customer service/respect (password sharing in the office- breaching data protection laws and compromising customer security
