Good staff discount & fair remuneration

Cons

- Treat their staff unfairly and put a lot of pressure on staff - instances of spying on (checkout) staff using security cameras (surely the managers can use this time to help customers?) and any minor error is often dealt with very harshly and unfairly. - Bullying and backstabbing is commonplace - Make rules and regulations as the store managers please themselves - wondering whether they are abiding by the employment law after all? - Employ new staff on short term contracts (using 6 months or less) so that they can be easily fired afterwards - Trying to get rid of staff on old (long term) contract by finding any excuse to blame them - Cut down staff level and expect the remaining staff to "fill up the void" by forcing them to work twice as hard as they are meant to. - Expect to maintain good level of customer service with barely any staff present on the shop floor
