Pros

Good builder tools which improves developer productivity.

Cons

Senior and mid level managers are fighting for promotion and there is too much bureaucracy which trickles down to developers. Company doesnt have a clue how to win the AI race and hiring/firing at the same time. A big shuffle is going on in the company so the job location is a hoax. They are asking to relocate on a short notice failing which will cost ur job. Equity promise is only on offer letter as they make very effort to not give u the stocks by asking u to relocate and giving bad ratings at the end of 2 years. No promotion for developers and the senior engineers make every effort to sabotage by rejecting change requests and making them later to get the promotions.

Pros

Ambitious projects if you're in the right team. Typically great team-mates. Don't believe the memes, the ppl are not back stabbing jerks but are overall genuinely nice. Not constrained by budgets when building cool things. Tools while sometimes clunky are powerful.

Cons

Schizophrenic lack of focus, entire teams get split, merged and upended multiple times a quarter. Some product managers are disconnected from reality. It didn't use to be the case, the PM-Ts were previously top notch. You're pushed to vibe code everything. Established products with loyal customers are getting neglected. Newer VP level leaders don't seem to know what they are doing. Veteran OG VP level leaders are either leaving in droves or seem stressed or checked out.
