The Dubai office is plagued with the most toxic and childish culture of any organization I've ever worked at. + Consistently marketed as a dynamic fast-growth firm that propels the careers of young and intelligent joiners, this is total BS. The company is essentially a glorified call center wherein showing any sign of intellect is shunned, as the only thing that matters is "selling as many calls as fast as possible" + Far too many too young, incompetent managers who focus their energy on micro-managing instead of adding any value to their teams or the office + Incredibly overly competitive culture with ineffective motivation tactics like "loser of the week" and a "shameboard" + Managers and trainers channel their inability to manage their own stress levels by regularly shouting at and belittling employees who are often more qualified than they are + The role doesn't help you gain any actual marketable skills that help you grow professionally or can be used to help you find your next role In summary, you can get a better job, DO NOT work accept a role at AlphaSights if you care about your career
