Pros

good variety of snacks and drinks

Cons

1. Management is utterly inexperienced and are just promoted based on the fact they have been there for 2 years because most associates leave before they even finish the 2 years there. There is no respect for decent work hours and managers make you feel guilty about attending a 1 hour gym class AFTER work, even though you continue with work after you finish the class. 2. Managers would constantly belittle you and make you feel "stupid" for things that are out of your control. They also don't take your concerns seriously and tell you that "life is unfair, deal with it" when you voice out a concern regarding having the unfairness of being stuck in a team with difficult clients and being judged on the same KPI 3. VPs are even worse because most of them are not even close to being mature or experienced enough to handle the role. A number of them are petty and will call you out for minor things such as "not wishing good morning sincere enough" or not "giving enough eye contact" even though you're swamped at work.

Pros

AlphaSights has an incredible culture and a highly supportive environment. I recently celebrated four years with the firm, and I've truly enjoyed the combination of high support and high performance. I have a great deal of autonomy in my role, work alongside an exceptional team, and continue to learn and grow every day. I'm so grateful that I started my career at AlphaSights.

Cons

I've truly enjoyed my time. N/a

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.
