Pros

the money is good if you don't want a personal life. truly unlimited earning potential. take company vehicle home every night. company paid smart phone and good benefit package. almost complete independence. "make your own schedule"(see cons)

Cons

extreme route change without notice. fluctuating pay, long hours, strange hours, high expectations with no management support. Upper management talks a big game about taking care of people first, but money is not everything. Middle management ignores requests for help and blame you when things go wrong. you do not own your time 24/7, you are at the mercy of your customers as far as that goes. vacations are a complete lie. spend a lot of money on corporate dinners, paper reports, annual meetings, ecolab "schwag", and frivolous things that could go to field associates.

Pros

Company Vehicle, Gas Card, Good Benefits, ability to manage your own route. You're on your own, out and about all night long... not sitting at a desk somewhere

Cons

Constant turnover rate since they changed the pay scale. It used to be base salary plus commission. Now it's this convoluted revenue per hour scale that has caused almost all pest control technicians to take a $500 to several thousand dollar loss per paycheck. They claimed you would make the same amount of money if you did the same amount of work. Definitely not true

Pros

Take home work vehicle,cell phone.

Cons

Everything else. Way to many negatives to write here. For starters, they do not value the customer service aspect of the SERVICE Specialist position. They recently went to a nonsensical pay system where you have to reach a targeted dollar amount for every hour you work in order to make a good living ....Really? In what universe is that a good idea?so,the more hours it takes me to run my accounts the less I make, even though the reason that I spend extra time is in order to take care of the customers problems like they pay us to,or to drive to accounts hours away from where I live? Oh,wait,to be paid well we have to sell extra products and services even though we are not salesmen and dispite the fact that we do the dirty work, dealing with dangerous chemicals and the creepiest of the crawleys?Really?? Throw in the facts that they expect you to be in call 24\7 for free, there is no time for literally ANYTHING else in your life except Ecolab, you get Looney toon pages at any hour, management is clueless and\ or dishonest with the employees,a new person will work themselves to death for peanuts because they will have to take everyone's infestations while these same people lie to them and say they are their friends, they set you up to fail, the list goes on and on. This is a dirty, unsafe, way underpaid and under underappreciated, stressful, laborious, nonstop 24\7 nightmare of a job that has taken almost all of the joy out of my life.......
