Great Company - Great Management - Great Team

I have worked at Employers for a few years and this company has among the best team and management that I have even seen at a company. It has a very good open door policy and supportive team environment. Team building events/activities by individual teams, departments and company as a whole are great. Very open to hearing what the employees have to say and good at receiving and listening to constructive criticism. Great work-life balance and benefits. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Cons

Work load can very depending on group you are in, there can be slow days and can be busy days (but doesn't effect work-life balance, which is great)

Pros

They do care about their employees. I do think that their management and leadership courses offered have value.

Cons

Lots of "old guard" and 30 year vets lead the charge, which means innovation and different approaches get stonewalled.

Upper management is somewhat diconnected and most departments are understaffed.

Knows workers' comp insurance and the employees are good people.

Cons

Too many personnel layoffs have resulted in most departments being understaffed. Upper management continues to get +6% salary increases every year, everyone else gets much less.
