Overpriced used cars sold to entrap poor customers in more bad debt

Pros

I had a salary plus commission atmosphere and the salary was good for a just out of college job.

Cons

All males at my location except me. Individual sales goals were more than the store would sell in a whole month. Sold an older neon with over 100,000 miles on it and it was more expensive from Drive Time than it was brand new. Very few days off. If you knew a customer was coming in to buy a car on your day off and you had worked with them to find the car, you either had to come in on your day off or trust that the managers would enter in your information so you could get credit for the sale.

Started out great . . .

Pros

Loved my job and that I was helping people with bad credit to purchase reliable transportation. Was able to earn a good living.

Cons

Company does not value their employees. Started hiring naive kids out of college and started managing out the aging staff. Micro manage and spend too much time looking for what you are doing wrong. Worked way more hours than they say you will with no extra pay.

Pros

nothing - don't have 20 words to write about any pro's with Drivetime because management doesn't read these so it's up to employees to warn people prior to leaving a job to take one at Drivetime. You'll be sorry.

Cons

Let's see - Upper Management won't read these because they are too good for it, nor do they listen to their employees. HR is a serious lawsuit waiting to happen (dumb and young); No one to contact because HR doesn't know what their doing and the CEO's don't care or they would notice that the good employees have left. They need to get their heads out of their butts.
