Not a bad summer job

Pros

Free to work short hours and take time off as necessary. They allowed me to take time off when I needed to or fill in for other hours to offset the time off. I don't think it was a bad place to work for a summer job and the tips can be really generous on some nights. Gas was also pretty expensive but they offset it with a price per mile that they pay to you.

Cons

If it is slow and you're not making tips the salary is pretty lousy

Pros

Tremendous growth opportunity and total fairness to all employees. If you like to drive and enjoy working unsupervised in your car, be a driver. However, if you work inside, you better be prepared to work hard and you had better work well with others. Making pizzas is fun. It's difficult to learn but once you get the hang of it it's pretty rewarding.

Cons

During the summer it gets very hot inside. Alot of miles are put on your car and you go through tires like socks. If you're in charge, you've got to deal with workinng with 16 year olds.

Pros

Its laid back. You get to know the people you work with since there's very few employees. The schedule is very flexible. Its money.

Cons

It can be TOO laid back and very disorganized. Because there's not many people working there, it can get very difficult to get the exact schedule you want/ need, and forget about getting Fridays, weekends, and holidays off (especially New Years and Halloween). The scheduling can also get very unfair, its suppose to be by seniority but favoritism plays a big part too. A lot of blame is placed on managers if another employee does something wrong even if that manager wasn't in charge at the time or working that day. You rarely get off work on time.
