Micro managing felt like prison

Pros

There are no good reasons to work here except flexible hours

Cons

Hired as a driver worked one month only made one delivery because pizza was getting old. The rest of the time I was ordered to take phone call orders. No problem at all, normally, except they have a peppy script you must read and read it a certain way. The 2nd in command of all dominos actually called in then complained to my manager for 10 minutes because I wasn't spritely enough on the phone. Drivers have to clock in and out on every delivery to closely monitor your time. You are expected to upswell every caller to average $17 per phone call or else you get yelled at. I quit because I think it's very wrong to harass people to buy more stuff than just taking their order. Dominos is way behind other places and it's probably because of their draconian micro managing oppressive environment they create for their workers.

Pros

For Delivery Driver: Leave with cash after every shift, flexible hours, easy job for the most part For Assistant Manager: Easy job

Cons

For Delivery Driver: Customers always complaining, may need to work longer than scheduled For Assistant Manager: Honestly everything sucked. Pay is low (start at 9.25/hour), work long hours, can be hard to balance work and life. Domino's wants so much out of their managers but don't pay well. My supervisor purposely tried to keep employees under 40 hours/week to avoid paying overtime.

No amount of money is worth this stress

Pros

You make a lot of money as a driver, you get free or discounted pizza, depends on your manager, and those are honestly the only perks.

Cons

They keep you 2-3 hours past your scheduled time, they ask you to work off the clock, they don't punish employees for stealing money, they're constantly stressing everybody out, they yell at you if you've been there for 10 hours and ask to go home.
