Good second job, but irregular hours

Pros

Good pay: you get an hourly wage which is dependent on age £7.83 (£6.36 under 21), plus 90p per delivery (£1 if you do 4 per hour) and tips. Free food with every shift 50% discount off shift Lots of tasks to do in store when it’s not busy. Company phone for use during shift. Business use insurance.

Cons

Irregular and antisocial hours. Zero hours contract. Cash floats are rubbish, if you use them you have to apologise to customers for lack of change. Adds a lot of miles to your car. When it gets busy managers forget about doing things properly, in favour of hitting targets.

Good place to work part time

Pros

Flexibles hours, fun co-workers, not too difficult, good tips I've worked at Dominos for over 4 years. I started as an insider, then a Shift Runner, then a driver. I make good money as a driver and the job is not hard at all. Very good for those who are in school and need flexible hours.

Cons

bad customers (happens everywhere!), greedy franchise owners... they could pay more by the hour but they don't.
