Pros
Very well structured Very good at training young analysts and showing them the ropes Steady increase in pay and responsibility Internal processes are clear although cumbersome at moment
Cons
Usually pays below overall market so not always worth it if you're working long hours Can be a trap if you stay too long: A Manager with 7 years of experience is not technically much better than a 4th year Senior Analyst to justify the difference in pay at an exit opp. So exit opps would usually rather hire the Senior Analyst.
