- Remember what the business is - selling and delivering work. So the focus on these is ever-present; not bad if this is what you're into doing and you do it well, but if not ... think carefully
- It's great if you want a career in consulting (i.e. make it to the Partnership or a Directorship) or if you want to learn and then exit - but know what you want ... if you don't you'll likely not be successful
- Comp is on the low side relative to senior industry roles - the upside is the expectation of making it as a principal, but until then there is a bit of personal career comp sacrifice...
- It's an increasingly complex firm - multiple businesses coming together to 'serve the client' - with multiple parties trying to figure out their role(s) in that model. Can seem like added risk management and bureaucracy sometimes.
