- The upper management team (Ken/Marty) worked very hard to make life miserable for the slaves beneath their heels - Due to COVID they stopped the 401k matching and bonuses and tried to cover with a story of losing money but in reality if you check the SEC listings you will notice they received larger bonuses and the company still did exceedingly well each quarter. They were able to force clients into taking on Work at home employees using COVID as the excuse. This gave them the leverage to lower and hire on new employees at lower rates using the excuse of the benefit of being able to work from ones own home to their advantage.

- Low salaries. Salaries today are much lower than a few years ago for the same job title - An expectation that you will work 18 hour shifts, and dedicate your entire life and being to Deloitte, by doing extra firm initiatives once you have finished your overworked day job (e.g creating posts promoting the company on LinkedIn, making youtube videos, etc) - Constantly and consistency lying to clients, to the point where it is second nature. Deloitte promise the world before they sign the contract, and once the contract is signed, Deloitte bully clients into accepting lower quality, and outsource the entire delivery to India. - Culture of bullying and intimidation from partners. Deloitte like to remind you 1000 times when you are joining, 'the partners are so open and nice guys' whereas in reality once you get there, you realise everyone (including high ranking directors and senior managers) are absolutely terrified of them, and there is a definite culture of fear. All the partners care about is money, is especially true at Deloitte. You are a simply a number. - Old school 'drinking culture' - Backbiting and fighting between directors, which is pathetic considering they are such a high grade, though this is probably related to the 'culture of fear' above
