Pros

You will experience extreme bad and unprofessional environment. You will come to know even such stupid people can be manager, just because he is having some domain knowledge. You will get some good feeling by seeing contractor is treated even worst and feel at least you are treating better.

Cons

You will compelled to work in more than 15 hours a day, manager will calculate how much you have to sleep . almost all Saturdays and Sundays... they will expect for. If they know the logic of some code they will say it is 5 min job and check your status in every 10 min. you will have to give excuse for leaving office at 8 PM .. like please let me go I have to for some shopping, and all people will look at you like you got change to leave in half time. All people who is working here either searching for other job or knows he can not get anything in market and have to survive here and do some politics, such type of person will show to management like you are stupid and he is genius, and management promote such person as management might know he can not leave.

Pros

Speaking based on experience in the Singapore office only - depending on the team you're working with they can be friendly and close-knit. Good brand name on the surface. Generally more down-to-earth and collegial than in banking. You make close friends with some colleagues.

Cons

Speaking based on experience in the Singapore office only - Work-life balance is non-existent, and the low pay does not help at all. Junior employees are treated merely as resources with little investment in training them up. Measly and laughable employee benefits, welfare and pathetic investment in office equipment. No respect for them and little appreciation for their contributions to projects. Demoralised office environment where people quit very frequently. Needless to say, burn out comes quickly.

Pros

If any, it would be networking and access to training provided through Deloitte University.

Cons

1. All the warnings in the world cannot prepare you for the internal dysfunction within this organization! 2. The ethics hotline is useless when reporting violations because investigations are performed by internal Deloitte personnel who may and have had direct professional relationships with the employee being investigated. 3. Favoritism and politics protect corrupt employees from reprimand or dismissal. 4. Abuse of authority is common within Services management on all levels, and perceived as necessary in order to silence the voice of overworked service employees. 5. Partners are fearful of addressing concerns or making waves internally because it may impact their ascent. As such, many are willing to ignore the suffering of other Deloitte personnel if there is no professional career gain in it for them. 6. Changes made to the firms operating structure providing Deloitte Services oversight of administrative operations has been brutal on the moral across all functions.
