Don't go there unless you're having a baby!

Pros

Great parental leave policy for primary and non-primary caregivers.

Cons

Don't expect to get paid correctly (or at all) for at least the first month. Don't expect to be treated with any kind of respect by anyone. Don't expect to see strategic direction from company leadership. Don't expect a team environment. Everyone is out for themselves! This is not a results based culture, it is a relationship based culture where you succeed not due to skills and results but rather due to kissing butt and playing the game.

Pros

- Good in marketing and packaging the Danone brand overall. - Relatively good benefits and parental leave policy. - Danone campus is good for employees

Cons

- "Great Company Culture" is used as a tool to market the company - Good HR branding but it's so far from reality. - Chaotic management team, too much of French & European influenced, lack of diversity in terms of background and sexuality. Too many expats. - Secured career opportunities if you are HR's best friend - High staff turnaround rate

Disappointing

Pros

Interesting work, good pay and benefits. Opportunities to travel. Inspiring mission and vision. Some really great colleagues if you look hard enough.

Cons

Culture great if you’re young, free and single - not good if you have any other commitments. Best to be French if you’re really ambitious. Likes to think it is a flexible place to work but they don’t seem to have any idea about how to analyse a job role resulting in most people working much longer hours than they are paid for. Some of the businesses are held together by interns and the level of expertise and maturity in business decisions are alarming. Quite surprised that more people don’t leave with stress - perhaps this is why the teams are quite young - older people burn out and leave. Generally there is quite an Inconsistency in the treatment of people - some people are looked after much better than others. Too many public school educated, white upper middle class people employed - not at all representative of the UK.
