Pros

Training outside the store is good. Boosted confidence.

Cons

Management are bullies and unprofessional. Made unprofessional comments with discrimination. Talked negatively about all the time. No flexibility with schedules. Only have cash on their minds and no focus on wellbeing.

Challenging but rewarding

Pros

No day is the same with the people that you get to meet. It will challenge you to learnt to prioritise work loads, and deal with fast turn around scenarios. Working with a small team is nice because you really develop relations that you can rely on, while working to succeed together.

Cons

Sometimes working weekends means your days off in the week either may require replying/forwarding emails, or picking up double time on the next working day. Have to learn to manage unrealistic customer expectations.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s great to hear you enjoy the variety of the role and being part of a close-knit team. The fast pace and opportunity to build strong working relationships are things we really value. We recognise that weekend working and managing customer expectations can be challenging. We’d always encourage open conversations with managers to make sure you have the right support in place.
