Pros

There are a lot of pros to working for Currys. If working in corporate the best pro is the hybrid policy which is at least 2 days a month in the office. This is fantastic for a work life balance but still get to see colleagues and have that face to face time. Staff discount is 10%, but bonus is good and with Currys doing really well at the moment despite the economy it's looking promising. The culture is great with wellbeing being well and truly embedded - the company really do care. Learning opportunities are available to everyone, but it's up to you to go and get them. The company are at the leading edge of embracing AI.

Cons

Some things in the business take a while to get done, but the leadership team are doing their best to identify blockers and get things done.

Pros

Slightly above average pay and some benefits can be good depending on what your situation is I joined when there was a bit of progression and took myself to a better more secure position Some managers can be ok. But as a company whole it’s very negative

Cons

Little to no commission Given multiple jobs that would take hours but expected to get done in 15 mins. Hire for the sake of hiring and not training new hires properly (since the merger) Heavily pressurised selling Expectations are way to high (broad expectations) Long hours No home / work life balance Support is very minimal and if there is then it is only when it suits them KPIs are forced onto you 24/7 Business is run on micro managers I used to hit targets consistently and never had any feedback… only had feedback when it was negative.. got shouted at a lot , spoken down too and genuinely made me depressed Lack of motivation within despite wanting to improve and be better

Pros

Flexible hours Okay-ish work environment When not busy is very care free environment

Cons

Poor management of staff, those who put more work in then others don't get rewarded but instead get called on more Absolutely zero incentive to learn extra skills in the workplace, being able to do customer services as well as being able to sell there is no reward you still get paid the same as someone who has just started regardless of experience.
