      Pros

      The company was always very flexible, with days off and holiday etc. Learnt an awful lot which I've now been able to use elsewhere. You'll have great fun, and the training is superb with ongoing coaching as you progress.

      Cons

      Unless you're store management (GM or above) the pay is awful, it'll be hard work and customers will threaten you and swear at you and they'll still expect you to smile it off. But you'll learn a load and have great fun doing it!

      Pros

      Fantastic colleagues and some unique opportunities (for retail). Generally busy which can make the days fly-by.

      Cons

      Poor pay compared to the expectations - you can't expect someone to sell (it's a sales job!), hit targets etc if you pay them less than any supermarket would. Expect "bonus schemes" with multiple get outs to avoid paying out which can lead to a feeling of resentment on the shop floor.
