Non performing middle managers (no fault of theirs ) who know little or nothing of what they are doing. Performance measurement is based on these managers and is basically down to your relationship with them or how they 'feel'. Middle Managers are terrified of senior management for some reason and don't want the whistle to be blown on their incompetence, so they just go along with anything. No standardisation of new employee training - you have to rummage around to find out what is available (both data and resources). Not really sure what is required of you and the goal posts change every time Never a full understanding of projects before going forward.

If you are not of the majority race, from the Midwest, Purdue graduate, your hobbies does not including beer, then you will have to learn how to battle in the engineering world while working at Cummins.
