Pros

None of them. Avoid as much as possible

Cons

A company that's good at acquisitions and has nothing to offer besides ruining companies (and their culture) that were bought (Heap, Hotjar, Upstride, Clicktale) recently. If you are looking for a poorly managed corporate-like company with the cons described below, then you are at the right place. - Geo-based salaries with massive discrepancies even with people in the same team from the same country - Absolute lack of transparency in every aspect (All hands meetings with ignored questions followed by meetings that are done for damage control again without Q&A or with Q&A that avoids answering questions) - Top-down reorg that puts people in a place where they don't want to be - Also, multiple reorgs in the past - Management is not used to working remotely, while 1/3 of the company is remote - The motivation level of people is hitting ground level - Massive tech debt, which is not being addressed because development is driven only by customers needs - Two rounds of layoffs in past year

Thank you for your candid feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the way you feel regarding the company. Compensation, transparency, organisation, and management are all priorities for us. We group questions in company-wide meetings to answer as many as possible but if you consider your questions remain unanswered please approach your PBP, or leverage the breakfast conversations with the execs which have been put in place in multiple offices.

Pros

The product is great, and many of the people working for Hotjar and Contentsquare are highly skilled.

Cons

The culture of the company has taken a massive downswing. The leadership is not transparent, have gone through 2 mass-layoffs in less than 6 months, reduced perks and benefits, and not communicated effectively with the team. Expectations of delivery of KPIs and target attainment are unrealistic.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate that layoffs are never an easy experience, impacting both those who depart as well remaining employees. These difficult decisions regarding our current benefits and staffing model were taken to ensure our organization remains resilient over the long term. If you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Marisa Bryan - Global VP Talent
