Going downhill

Pros

It is probably okay if you join as a new person without the baggage of all the company's past decisions. ICs as people are great.

Cons

Chaos. Clueless senior leadership (although some promising changes happened on the board). They ruined most of the companies that they acquired. Leadership is sales-driven, with little care about actual customer or employee needs. Employees are mostly treated as overpaid resources. The merge was done horribly.

Thank you for your feedback. The acquisition of Heap and Hotjar by Contentsquare was a challenging period for many of us. Three companies means three different cultures and ways of working. Our recently updated values as well as our new identity are pillars of this transition. They will be part of the enablers of a unified prosperous future. Employees are the cornerstone of Contentsquare and their well-being is essential, multiple policies and programs exist to ensure so. We encourage you to reach out to your People Business Partner to address the issues you have raised together.

Pros

Compensation, people & interesting projects.

Cons

Toxic manager, whose actions and attitude are known and documented, free to live her best life at the company while people keep leaving her team.

Pros

Good salary International environment Mostly cool clients

Cons

Quite a political org. People are not as warm and welcoming as they seem to be. They're mostly selfish and don't hesitate to let you down if they have nothing to gain from you. Some managers don't assess performances according to performances but according to personal relationships. Huge pressure.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to read that your experience did not fully live up to your expectations and our efforts. However, your feedback is surprisingly inconsistent with the feedback we get from our teams. According to our latest survey, 95% of our teams are very satisfied with their relationships with their colleagues and 91% of them trust their management to support and evaluate them. We are continuing our efforts on these points. We surely are an ambitious company, but our first concern is about our team members. I’m personally available any time to address such internal relationship difficulties. Direct communication is often the best way to understand each other. Please don’t hesitate to contact me without notice. Aurélien Buathier - Customer Success Director - Western Europe
