Pros

- Tons of freedom, I have been given next to zero work so far. Most days I spend knocking out the insanely long list of training videos given to me or just relax. Its easy and relaxing but I don't feel fulfilled - Friendly people - Fully Remote - Good if you need a paycheck - Early talent program has good intentions

Cons

- Zero opportunity to learn, prove myself, or improve my craft - Pay and benefits are pretty bad - Soulless corporate culture. I would hate to work in their office from what I have seen. I am blessed to be WFH here. - Projects seem to be 10 yrs behind other companies tech-wise, and all pretty boring govt. projects. - The amount of training videos required is absurd, it has been the only thing to do during my 3 months here and the videos are incredibly useless, boring, or unnecessary. - Business outlook doesn't look great - Outdated internal tools Will be leaving this company in the coming weeks. I am grateful they gave me a job after being laid off, but am disappointed in the lack of opportunity I had here. My mentor is an awesome person who I will miss talking to. Conduent's compensation package is okay ( a pretty good pay if you live in a small city with little expenses) , but doesn't come close to competing with other big companies.

Pros

If you can get an interview or go to a job fair, it is easy to hire. It can be used by people who urgently need to work.

Cons

I worked for the company twice. In 2016, when it was still Xerox and again in 2023. In 2016, the trainers and fellow new hires were enjoyable but I left shortly after starting production when I realized we might have spend too much time having fun instead of training and I was clueless about how to calm the screaming customers in my ear. In 2023, I was hired for a data entry role and left after 3 days. I was fortunate enough to sit in front of a trainer who talked so disrespectfully and cruelly to other new hires, I knew there was no point in sticking around. I feel my expectations for roles like this are fairly low. I only require basic human decency and to be adequately trained for the role. In both cases, Conduent let me down.

Pros

1. You get to work from home. 2. Communicating through the teams app helps you be part of the team. 3. Benefits were okay. 4. If you need replacement equipment, the company can be fast about getting it out to you.

Cons

Short lunches and you're watched in case you go over your breaks. System issues are common and can be frustrating. You can be let go or asked to resign if the issues are on your end and they happen frequently enough. Although mentoring is offered after training, you only get one or two mentors for a whole training class. Many of my questions went unanswered and I had to get the answers in other ways. The pay for what I was doing was on the low end. Attendence policy can be strict, if it's the busy season and you need time off for a personal issue, prepare to be brushed off or told you just have to show up to work anyway. Team managers can be super busy and they might not have the same schedule as you.
