Good Company in the Short-term

Pros

Benefits - 401k matching is pretty good, Employee Stock Purchase Plan is an easy extra 15% of investing, ancillary benefits are good, too - such as the Hyatt layer service. PTO is pretty liberal as you gain at least 3 years of service.

Cons

Constant reorgs put continuous pressure on employees. The culture and decorum as whole when these types of strategies are implemented sink quickly. The only thing that permeates at that point is self-preservation. I would like to give Chubb less than 3 stars but that would be disingenuous of me considering having worked here for close to a decade. But the last ~two years, roughly, has been enough for me to want to leave and remove a lot of the goodwill I thought this firm had made.

Pros

- Good for Excel (** copy pasted figures with no formulas) - Good for QlikView (** loading Excels) - Good for leaving and being recruited back as contractor (** to increase salary)

Cons

- Employees are seen as disposables - Some permanent employees are actually temporary, recruited to fill a gap for a certain period and laid off within first months. - No support for any coding efforts. Only preference - Excel, QlikView. - Your job description does not show what you will actually be doing. - No people management or task prioritisation. You are expected to do everything that comes your way. - You are literally expected to do everything: meet deadlines (even not communicated ones), answer calls any time, bring coffee, collect their parcels... - No respect for cultural differences, management by fear and intimidation, bigotry
