We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the team trips! We really value the social aspect of working at Checkout.com. We’ve invested in creating a work environment that fosters building relationships, and will continue to prioritize this in the future with company retreats and team events. As we’re rapidly scaling across the globe, our founder and CEO works from multiple locations. We want everyone to feel a sense of belonging and ownership, no matter which (home) office they are working in. So we support our managers to continuously develop their leadership skills, and inspire a culture where feedback is encouraged. And we celebrate our differences at Checkout.com. We added 500 people to the team over the last year, bringing our total up to 1000, comprising of 94 nationalities. French is one of many languages spoken at the company, but English is our primary language used globally. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. The People Team

Pros

A challenging experience for anyone looking to understand how banks, websites, 3rd party solutions all connect together to provide a transparent solution to the online shopper we all are nowadays. Flexible working hours, time off policies, a deep accent on training and led by a team of brilliant and young professionals provides the ground for anyone to come in, share an opinion, deliver a solution and embrace a whole new perspective.

Cons

The company is still growing up and did well to lay out the foundations for career paths, both managerial and technical freeways. But titles don't matter that much for a company of this size, accent should be more on the quality of the products being delivered. This implies quality in development, testing, hosting and support and paves the way for the need to hire a very experienced CTO who has a deep knowledge of the industry.
