Pros

The pay is standard. It has good benefits. The work/life balance is ok- not bad, not great. Inevitably, it all depends on your boss and what department you work in.

Cons

The facility was aging (not decrepid by any means though). It's a traditional place, no new ideas on managing. Not much sense of comraderie (though this may depend on where you are)

strong compensation and benefits incentive pay for business unit performance given the ability to work independently global travel opportunities

Cons

management inflexible to support work/life balance overly focused on equality so rewards are driven by years of service aging management with limited understanding of the younger generation management in Wamego lacks base skill sets and is afraid to risk for fear of losing a job they aren't qualified for
