Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. Company-matching 401K. Tuition assistance if desired, which pays the majority of college costs. Opportunities for advancement.

Cons

As people retire or move on to new jobs, the positions are often not filled. Instead the company just piles the work onto current employees. The resources are rarely available to make the improvements which are necessary to move the company forward, which leaves employees feeling frustrated. Everyone feels so constrained and so pressured to focus on the bottom line that there is a high level of stress, and very poor engagement.

Job security is good. Performers do get rewarded but it always depends on manager. It is global company so if traveling job is possible.

Cons

Management thinks employees need to be happy to have a job. Comp is good but you can get that anywhere if you are good.

- International exposure - Can find almost any type of job within the company - Excellent work - life balance, flexible hours - Low stress jobs, most people are from rural / agricultural background and very laid back

Cons

- All roads lead to Peoria - Slackers are rewarded almost exactly same as high performing employees. - Higher education not supported (Tuition assistance program is a joke) - Pay is about 20% less than comparable jobs in top companies
