Not the best place to grow your career (Home Office)

Great work life balance Great people

Cons

Very difficult to move up because the organization is extremely flat. Pay is below average for Home Office (they believe the great work life balance makes up for that, I would not agree) Very inflexible in regards to work from home or telecommute (this is virtually not an option except to put in over time) MAP (management assessment program) is a waste of time. Forces Home Office employees through a process that really should only apply to the field

Pros

Flexible work schedule, good benefits, employee purchase discounts, variety of cars to choose from, for the most part coworkers are good.

Cons

Constantly lowering of standards. The policy changes that have occurred in the past year seem to always hit the pockets of commissioned & hourly associates. Management seems to have very little respect for employees in all departments. The open door policy for associates is rapidly closing speak up or complain & you may find yourself quickly unemployed.

Very difficult to make a living wage in today's economy, general aloofness of sales management regarding sales consultants, those who work the hardest receive the lowest amount of proportional compensation
