Pros

CarMax values and expects integrity. Great company as long as you do not mind the retail hours. The managers are honest and very involved in providing feedback. They are great at working with you if you need time off and they really do care about the employees.

Cons

Retail hours. Feedback is given constantly which can sometimes be overbearing. CarMax consistently wants to chase waste out of their operations which is great in theory but the workload is too heavy for a lot of positions.

Pros

it is a great company to work for. Its one of the top 100 best and also in the top fortune 500. Medical plan is extremely competitive compared to what else is there in the industry.

Cons

It is a retail store after all. So the schedule you work varies based on the needs of the company.

Pros

Relaxed, comfortable dress code and money was not too bad.

Cons

Retail type hours, work holidays. They micromanage sales people and should be more concerned with sales and not so worried about the process.
