Good environment but just a number

Pros

Give great feedback and always training. 6 weekend to train as a sales person. Paid training then pure commission. Ok

Cons

Really just a number anyone and every one us replaceable. No sence of loyalty towards the employee s. Hire more people so it us harder to stay on top pay plan.

Cons

Waiting on ups Limited opportunities for advancement When they are no ups, you have to call and bug people at there homes to come in to carmax to see if they want to do a trade in, or see if they want to sell us there car.

Pros

Very competitive pay for entry-level sales, good stock option plan, it was a good entry-level job to obtain valid sales experience. They do give you all of the tools and training that you need to be successful.

Cons

There are no "raises" for sales consultants. I worked there for 4 years, and the base rate per vehicle never changed (meanwhile inflation did!). Some people had worked there 10+ years without the base rate ever changing. Management's solution to this problem? "Sell more cars!"
