Pros

Promotion opportunities are available throughout each store many locations to transfer to across the U.S. management time away policy is valuable

Cons

work/life balance is hard to maintain since it is a retail environment new company so still developing policies and procedures

Pros

Professional & fair. Training good. Everybody knows what there role is. A sense of teamwork. Associates all were very nice

Cons

Hours long if your a sales associate. Customers who want to abuse you like other car sales people who make a lot off of one sale.

Pros

Well Carmax is a good company, who treats their employees very well. My Carmax, spoiled us on weekends with catered lunch. If your a highschool student or college student, its is a great job.

Cons

Job is rather repetitive at times, low pay if you have a family, or want to live on your own. The works are spread out, so its hard to find help when you need it from team members. Management barks orders of things to do, and it presents stress, and also you have a hard time completing a task.
