Pros

If you need a work where you can pass all your day on long morning breakfast & lazy afternoon lunch this would be a apple on a pie for you ,

Cons

1. long term HR guys who stays there for a century builds a cobweb of politics against the new incumbent, 2. people make groups within a small meagre team of 4 to 5 people 3. If you want to work individually others will badmouth about you to your subordinates 4. The entire company is running on 2 projects to be precise & people snatch jobs from each other like a musical chair 5. Senior management is worst & dont know about change management or any other best practices 6. If you dont lick them they can fire you in a very political way at anytime. Think thrice before you join this trash can

This is clearly a review that is driven by some frustration and the comments are at odds with the generally favorable feedback that we receive on this forum. We have a strong and forward-thinking HR function at Capco, supported by our leadership team, and with a clear commitment to complying with relevant standards in all locations. As a firm, we encourage effective teaming, but where employees prefer to work more individually, we will look to structure projects and deliverables in a way that plays to individual strengths, recognising that we also need to pool talents and capabilities to develop the best solutions for our clients. The firm has a large number of projects with a wide range of clients across the financial services sector, and this continues to grow and expand, spearheaded by our senior leaders who have a wealth of experience, including change management. If the firm is required to manage any terminations, we will always do so in a way that is respectful of the people involved, compliant with relevant standards and legislation, reflective of good HR management and practice, and with an opportunity for an individual affected to appeal if they believe there is any unfairness. Capco applies all the standards that people would expect in a global employer of choice, and we have a variety of mechanisms in place for people to raise and discuss any issues, so these can be properly investigated and managed.

Pros

You get a check bi weekly

Cons

Racist firm. They fake diversity and dont want blacks to move up. They have you work on proposals and he like and you get no where. Anytime i complained i was deemed the issue and no protection what so ever. You also have to network for your new role its not handed to you at all.

We completely reject this assertion. Capco is a diverse firm and our commitment to all our people to ‘be yourself at work’ is a founding pillar of our inclusive culture. Our commitment to fostering a diverse workforce is evident in our workforce composition and the range of different people choosing to join our firm. More importantly the feedback does not resonate with the broader feedback we receive from our people who regularly tell us that our culture is inclusive and our commitment to diversity is real. Capco values diversity among people, their ideas, and their points of view. At Capco, true inclusion is about fostering an environment where all employees can be themselves at work, and several comments on Glassdoor are a testament to our inclusive approach. We genuinely believe that diversity powers innovation. We are sorry you did not have a great experience with your role. We encourage you to reach out to David Heffernan, our Global HR leader, to speak with him in confidence.

Pros

- Close knit community of junior level employees - Standard work-life balance - Many opportunities to contribute to company extracurriculars - Newly renovated office

Cons

- Thinly veiled favoritism that decides the kind of work and projects you are staffed on (opportunities are rarely advertised company wide) - Encouraged company wide gossiping - At times, extremely unprofessional senior management - Mismanaged HR department that is unequipped to handle the growth of the company and does NOT treat each employee in isolation of their peers - Many ill-conceived projects that are almost a slap in the face to employees with great experience and skills - Very little guidance in career development and growth as an individual - Dysfunctional feedback processes for performance reviews
